~Favorite Books for Girls Ages 10-18. Part one~

I thought I'd take a minute or two and write out a list of my favorite books and the books I would recommend from the time I was 10 up until now. I grouped them together by age, so that it would be easier for you to navigate and choose which ones look interesting. I hope you leave my blog with a few new books on your  "To Read" list!

Here is part one in this blog series..

Ages 10-14

Little House Series by Laura Ingalls Wilder.
The Little House Series is centered around Laura Ingalls Wilder's life from her childhood in Wisconsin and on the open prairie, to her adult life in the town of De Smet in South Dakota. This book is perfect for readers of all ages, but it was written for the ages 8-14.

Side note: If you want to read about the real Laura Ingalls Wilder, I suggest you read "Pioneer Girl: The Annotated Autobiography by Laura Ingalls Wilder."

A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett

Recommended for ages 10-14

Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfeild

Recommended for ages 12-14

Anne Of Green Gables Series by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
This book  series is perhaps my favorite series I've ever read. The series opens up with Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert adopting a little boy, or so they think. When a redheaded girl ends up on their doorstep,  they must decide to keep her, or send her back. Anne Shirley is an imaginative, spirited young lady, who has many adventures on her small Prince Edward Island.
The whole series is for all ages, from 10-99, with each book set in a different time of Anne's life.

Blessings!

Ephesians 4:29-30 KJV.

29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
