~Life Without a Mixer #4~

Hello bakers, chefs, cooks, and other people in the kitchen!  Here are a few quick recipes and tips for you to enjoy! (No pictures to go along with the recipes this time, sorry!)

Recipe 1
(this recipe/tip is from my mothers cookbook. It has been in our family for 20+ years)

To make all-purpose flour into self-rising flour,
for every 2 cups of flour, add 1 tsp salt, 1 TBSP baking powder. Mix before adding.

 Recipe 2

My Sisters Quick Biscuits.
(this recipe is from my sister. She makes the best biscuits!)

2 C. Self Rising Flour (or mixture listed above.)
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup sugar.
Mix ingredients until just blended (dough will be sticky). Pour  1 cup flour onto a pizza pan, add the dough. Knead until not sticky. Pat out and cut into biscuits. Makes about 12+, depending on how big or small you make them.

And the last one, Recipe 3

Easy French Toast.
( I think this is from allrecipes.com)
8 Bread Slices
6 Eggs
1 1/3 cup milk
Salt to taste

Mix half the milk, and half the eggs together in a shallow dish. Preheat oil in a skillet or shallow frying pan.Soak bread in the milk/egg mixture. Fry in the oil until crispy brown. Serve with syrup or powdered sugar.

Ephesians 4:29-30 KJV.

29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
